Rugby League Clubs Social Impact worth £185m a year

Rugby League’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been highlighted by a groundbreaking report which concludes that Rugby League clubs contribute £185m in social value each year.

Judith Cummins, chair of the All Party-Parliamentary Group on Rugby League said: "This proves that Rugby League is more than just a sport. Rugby League Clubs including their staff, players and volunteers should be recognised for the impact they have had and continue to have in supporting our communities through lockdowns and restrictions. They have often been the glue keeping communities together."
